Transmissions can be built to withstand that torque or power. Trucks have way more torque than an exotic like that and still manuals exist. They're just too lazy to develop one. How hard could it be?

But yeah, it certainly possible. Whether you want to spend the money and time to research and develop it is another thing. Ferrari spent a lot of money on SMG technology also.
