    best guitar player?

alright, i know there are some guitarists on ucp so i'd like to hear who do you think is the best guitar player of all time... my vote would go to yngwie malsteen, cause i love both his technique and style in improvisation

here's an interesting fugue i've come across recently:

i think i haven't told it before that i'm a great classical guitar passionate, i'm playing many of the classical and flamenco motives, recently i've been struggling with the paganini's 24 caprice - only a part of it (the main riff) but you can see it whole -

If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

The best guitarist of all time is a close tie between me and David Gilmour.

Well, most votes will probably go to the person whose music is most liked by the voter.

Please vote in terms of ability to play, compose, not because someone wrote an album that sold 5 gazillion records

Which is why I chose John Petrucci ... I challenge you to find a faster and more accurate guitarist.
