That's... um...
What the hell??
No need to guess which nationality was driving that. Just because they invaded doesn't mean they can ram people. I half expected the driver to run over the pedestrian walking down central reservation.
And not even buses are above bullying...
It's weird how it stops before we see the Humvee meet the tractor...
Umm actually it's for everyone safety that they insist cars move out of the way immediately, it's the slow-moving and stopped vehicles that are most prone to getting hit with an RPG or IED. Better a dented bumper than multiple dead bodies. And if you watch carefully, the people who know what they're doing anticipate it and move out the way ahead of time... they're the smart ones who know that if that Humvee gets hit right behind them, they're going up in flames as well. Funny how the "freedom fighters" kill more of their own people than they do the "BASTARD AMERICAN INVADERS"Originally Posted by IWantAnAudiRS6

Fair point. I just find it quite odd, that's all.Originally Posted by TVRs4eva

They shouldn't have made themselves targets in the first place Don't they drive around in convoys there ?
This is one of your most idiotic comments, ever.Originally Posted by drakkie

I'd love to see you explain that, because i fail to see your point there.Originally Posted by Wouter Melissen

So you are suggesting they slow down, become an easier target, and increase the risk that they(and a good number of the people around them) are fired upon with a RPG? Or, in other words, you're saying that their lives are worth less than an Iraqi's bumper?Originally Posted by drakkie
I'm not saying that creating good will is a bad thing, it need to be done and it's very important in our getting out of this idotic war. I just want you to realise the risk that those men and women are facing.
EDIT: I love Wouter's posts. Genious. [see below]

You have made many idiotic comments, this one was one of the most idiotic. Is that enough of an explanation?Originally Posted by drakkie

Venturing out & about from the ludicrously named Camp Victory bunker, on a mission of hearts 'n minds for Old Glory. No doubt the average Bahgdadi motorist is thrilled to bits (sometimes literally to bits) by these soft caresses from their benevolent liberators

Its impossible to ignore the social dynamic depicted by this video
when some of the population has RPG's that tends to be a bit difficult.Originally Posted by drakkie
perhaps you should go there and show them how it's done? With your expertise with them i'm sure the Americans could stop the violence in Iraq in a matter of weeks.

IMO, blaring the horn and getting up right behind the car is enough of a warning for motorists to pull over when you are in battle, that if they don't get it, you can give them a little nudge. It's not as if they accelerated full on until contact, they sped up, slowed way down, and tapped the bumper. Seems reasonable enough to me, anyway.

With his galleons and guns
Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun

With his cocoa leaves and pearls
To elaborate even further why the comment is stupid, it's not like they purposely went out of their way to become targets for fun.Originally Posted by drakkie
Also, I doubt it would take much provocation to become a target when, y'know, they're at war with the country they're in.

i was waiting on a moment, but the moment never came. all the billion other moments, were just slipping all away. i must have been tripping, we're just slipping all away. just ego tripping.
they do drive in convoys, and this is most likely the lead vehicle.. i really cant blame them for driving like that, i would too if it was that or being blown to bits
