This shows a gross misunderstanding of the situation.

While many more Iraqis are killed than Americans, it's because they are the targets. The main cause of violence in Iraq today is internal fighting between the Shiite majority and the Sunni insurgents. The Shiite militia for the most part does not target Americans, they target Sunnis. The Shiites are also the ones that may be getting arms from Iran, Saudi Arabia(our allies) are arming the Sunis, the ones that target Americans besides other Shiites.

Al Qaeda is Sunni.
