    Best Homework Ever!!!!!

The assaignment was to make an advert for a man's car:

This is what I did on CorelDraw X3:

Found the RS6 Avant pic, cut the mountains and road out and stuck it on a black page, duplicated the image and pasted it into CorelDraw PhotoPaint X3, horizontally flipped it and but the ripple effect on, then pasted it back in CorelDraw under the original. I then wrote up a load of info on the car and spend an hour searching all over for an RS6 badge, the best one I could find is the one I uses, a picture of the 'RS6' badge on the back of, believe it or not, an RS6.

This is how it looks, I'm pretty pleased with it!

It looks good at a glance, but you need to work on some of the things- firstly- the badge looks a bit... unprofessional. It's slightly off-centre, too

You might want to cut down on the information there, just vital stats, i.e. peak bhp, top speed minus the limiter, 0-60, whatever the market is interested in. Good style- suits Audi's similar style, but lacks the polish of their stuff. Keep it up- you got potential

    Thanks.

I know it's not properly polished off but it's just a piece of English H/W/K, not even coursework. It was meant to take 45mins but I spent 4hrs on it...

It's good, but needs some work. I'm not a fan of the ripple effect, I think it'd look better as a faded reflection on water, with a slight ripple, rather than that huge wave effect. And, like Sam said, the RS6 badge looks.. out of place, and there's a bit too much info at the bottom.

Overall, nice work, just needs some touching up I think.

Thanks, yeah, but it's only a piece of English H/W/K, everyone thinks I've done way to much for it, they;ve just taken crappy pics and writted about them in pen. I tried to do that but for some reason I couldn't be bothered.

Maybe sometime when I have time I'll re-do it and see if I can make it better.

It's good work, I can imagine it actually being in a twenty year old National Geographic.

    I hate you. :O

My homework is math math math chemistry (a little art crammed between) then more math.

I can feel the jealousy taking over me.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

'You have too much time on your hands' '**** ME! THAT'S SO COOL' 'Stunning' and 'Give me that and a pen NOW! MINE!' and 'Yum' were some of the responses from classmates. Only Dan & I had actually done the work, Dan's was on a new Nissan Micra... Can't wait for my marks
