English is a language full of bullshits anyway, same goes with "isn't necessarily correct." ....

Yeah blame America for the "death" of the British car industry WTF?!?! I'm sorry you have had a hard week (and that your parents were born in a British colony?) but that makes no sense at all.

As Coventry pointed out it is far from dead and I believe that it might become more useful to define a British, American, etc car as one that is designed and made in Britain or America. Of course then again is the company that owns Aston Martin, Jaguar, MG, etc that is profiting (sometimes).

Haha, I know... she spent 15 minutes one day at the beginning of class just talking about people using prime examples and phrases to be used instead of it.

Every time I see 'prime example' now that lecture just sticks in my head.

Louis Vuitton isn't the buyer. Well, not according to Motor Trend.

Well then all this was pointless. Except that we learned that people like it when car companies are owned by people / companies from the country of the car companies' origin. I like it like that too. And we don't have to worry about LV being behind stiched into the fabric behind your head in the driver's seat of an Aston Martin. Wheeeeeeee!

Just wondering whether those high-finance types that MT have 'never heard of' might be this consortia?

supercharged V8s, a waterproof coating for the interior, a set of bars to protect against those kangaroos, RWD.....

    Now that should be interesting
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
