Exactly. The car in the above picture is an EVO I. I didn't know how they look either until, recently, a friend of mine bought one. I had seen 2 original EVO II before and had never seen a I.
Apparently the main difference between the "normal" 2.5 16v and the EVO I is the displacement: the EVO as a bigger bore and a smaler stroke to favour high performance tuning and high revs.

I like Quiggs' suggestion, but I think I like the SLK rims better, I hate the stardard hubcaps, An Evo II would be nice, shame Grandpa didn't buy one originally...

Rofl only if they don't know the difference.

Cigarette smell is kinda hard to get out of cars, in fact its hard to get out of any carpet or cloth. Car dealerships use sprays that instead of covering up the smell, attack it and kill it. Try Ozium or something similar to it. I get it at Autozone/AAP for when douchbags smoke a cig and hop in my car. That smell travels everywhere.

Like I said, the only way to get a car to smell completely new is ozone treatment. You'll have to leave your car overnight at the professional cleaner. But it's soo worth it since smoke scent is most disgusting.

I don't think that is the Turbo version. The turbos had a lettering with "2.5 Turbo" on the back.

Beating them with the wheel brace always cured the problem for me.

Oh right, so it's just a naturally aspirated 2.5liter 5cyl Diesel?
