Just a short thank you on all the enthusiasm allready guys ! This seems to take off well

Since this is also the thing I study for this it really interests me. Offcourse doing this alone is virtually impossible. Thank you all and may we create a beautiful vehicle !

In 7 days time I will publish a list of evryone that is in. Then we can also discuss our first ideas and the packaging and stuff. I'll do a few packaging designs so we can discuss and choose one version.

Definitely, you are going to need regular updates from each team. That is something that should be outlined in the schedule.

The schedule along with the design requirements are one of the first things that you may want to define. However, before you can complete either of those you are probably going to need to form the teams so that you can get feedback on what kind of time and knowledge people can provide.

Also, if you want to generate the car in CAD some standardization, file types for example, will be needed if you want to bring all the parts into a single solid model. A poll may be needed to figure out who access to what engineering software.

Sometimes smilies change the entire perspective of a post. I'm only bustin' his chops.

Thanks, some fine ideas as well !

I'll try and translate some formats we use,for our project groups. These cover most of these subjects. might be handy.

It sounds like an interesting project. I'm studying computer science so I'm in somewhat similar situation to Ferrer. Although some usability is included in my studies so maybe I could help with the interior/dashboard?

That's what I thought, but I can never be sure without asking.

Well perhaps we can fill you in as a designer then. We will get a Design manager,so you can cooperate on that, if it is to your liking like this
