your ideas are progressing well. Keep at it. Multi link is a good idea but is a very different method. You can achieve the relative compactness of multi-link (the rx-8) has multi link so maybe hes biased...kidding ) using an "in wheel" design like the s2000:

Heres an attempt at a 3 sided view for the suspension. As it stands, its become a 5 link setup. Still to integrate anti roll bars etc.

Are you sure you don't want to stick with something like a simple unequal length double A arm?

I'll be looking at wishbones for the front probably, as well as a forward mounted steering rack but thanks for the pictures.

Well ive had my mind set on the longitudinal links, but i also figured the multilinks would be lighter than an A/H arm setup. I guess its also not too hard to go to A/H arms at this stage either.

I have the perfect way to come up with a full team.

HOW TO PROPERLY PLACE NEW EMPLOYEES

1. Put 400 bricks in a closed room.

2. Put your new hires in the room and close the door.

well thats about as detailed as i can find on the open web. anyone else got pics? It would be good for the suspension to actually work! It would be a shame to just plain copy someone elses design. I dont intend my contribution to go along those lines

RWD? i still like all. but id take rear over front, but you guys can figure that out, just so you know id like to know soon, so i can start designing a little, front engine, mid or rear?

Yes, basically rear seats have to be much smaller, other than that a good start.

The wheelbase looks to be much too big.

The occupants are too low and too laid back - driving the cabin length up, and therefore the wheelbase.

The windscreen is too far forward, too shallow, and it is also curved, so it is a big lens.

The guy in the back doesn't need a steering wheel either.
