Official/Unofficial Rules of the German Autobahns

I just watched a program on Five TV on the Autobahns, a few official and unofficial rules were stated such as:

It's illegal to flash the driver in front if you want to overtake, you must leave your left indicators on to show you wish to pass.

If you see an Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche - any of the German bunch you should move out of their way.

If you plan to travel over 100mph you should have your front foglights on.

Hand gestures will get you heavily fined.

Anybody know anymore, it's quite interesting to find out things like these.

Another unofficial rule: If you see Taz comming up behind you, you must pull over, stop and pay reverance.

But don't you mean headlights instead of foglights? I find using foglights when there's no fog dangerous. Imagine doing that at over 100mph...

What the hell is that spider eyed hunk of junk doing on such high quality roads across an ocean? You don't deserve to be on those roads.

    ROFLWAFFLE.

You would have no choice but to pull over and rid your rear view mirror from the brightest light source known to mankind.

Seriously turn some of them off they shine in my windows at night.

well, technically it wouldn't be coming up behind you, it's just an illusion created by the blinding lights.

    Lolz.

Would another official one be that all 'Busa riders must be travelling on one wheel at speeds up and including 200kmh?

Another rule....There are speed limits. Accidents do happen, and there will be signs to tell you to slow down.

Not everywhere yet if I remember right. Speed limits are kinda high anyway.

It depends. There's some parts where traffic gets congested enough to be limited to under 60Mph. I saw a pic showing I think the equivalent of 30Mph, but I can't recall where.
