Not bad, not bad... I don't know why but as said certain companies seems to succeed and be innovative time after time, whereas others just never get it right... Guess it's all about the know-how of hiring the right people.
Partly because some companies lack the leadership to make bold choices and insist on everyhing being consumer-tested using opinion panels etc etc and which naturally leads to a bland, "safe" product - be it car or advert.
Apple broke the mould in the 80s it astounds me that so many companies produce easily forgotten and expensive advertising !!!
