Not attractive though is it? If I don't think I'd miss the performance advantage over say, a DB9.

Personally I think the 575 was the high point of the series...

The 456 is the predecessor to the 612, the 599 was preceded by the 550 and 575. Different cars, different target markets.

The 599 looks a lot better in the metal than it does in photos

Exactly.. That's why both are sold at the same time.

575 the high point? It lost a little to the 550 Maranello, which was still the benchmark until the 599 came.

With the Fiorano handling pack, maybe, from what I've read. I know I'll always have a soft spot for them, as everyone has for the supercars of their early teen years.

Also, the 550/575 always seemed somehow more approachable — even with a sticker price roughly six times my annual salary, the good old 550/575s were like a girl next door — sure, maybe you're not really her type, but with a bit of tequila and the right song on the stereo...

The 599 seems like a car that wouldn't associate itself with me. It's the coked-up supermodel in her prime to the Maranello's hometown beauty, and though better in every way, it just doesn't pull at my heartstrings like the Maranello.

...With that Enzo engine it does make my balls tingle a bit though.

Not really, I like the 575 better. To each their own.

Yeah, I agree. A SuperAmerica in black with the handling package. Wow....

The 550 was by far the most impressive of the entire bunch, seen the 612 and the 599 and to be honest neither has made too great an impression on me. The 550 however was always a dream beauty.

The 575 was impressive, though I preferred the Superamerica. I haven't seen any official track tests of the 599, so I won't jump to opinions for now.

The 575 looks like the 550 only on steriods, but it doesn't have the classic beauty of a ferrari, looks to busy. Plus you what they say steriods does to man parts

250 GTO is not from the same line as daytona and 599. it was 250 lusso, and personally i think that's the nicest front enigned V12 ferrari
