Not exactly a success, if you want my opinion.

Right, and they aren't considered seriously in performance circles.
    Me...
But earlier said you'd pick an M3, as would most. Still, in a luxury/performance car and how they're driven, FWD is probably an advantage.

No, he said he'd probably pick a 407 Coupe before an M3.

If you're refering to the styling, I agree, one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. If you're refering to the sales, it still isn't sold, is it?

I'd say it's just as ugly, but I find all SUVs to be quite ugly.

It's amazing what the front can do for looks. This one looks really good whereas the Peugeot is horrible. Front the nose back they are they same car. Same as Mitsubishi Outlander. BTW, have they released these cars in Europe yet?

They are not yet on sale, altough if I'm not mistaken they are about to. They'll be available with a 2.2-litre diesel engine with 156bhp and a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Unfortunately, I don't think many Americans will want to buy a French Peugeot. Hopefully, Peugot will find a niche market in the United States of America.

French cars are becoming popular in Australia. I have noticed a siginificant increase in the number of Peugeot's, Renault's and Citroen's on Australian roads, especially here in Adelaide, South Australia. Also, I saw the beautiful Peugeot406? wagon yesterday, it was parked outside the Hilton Adelaide hotel. I wonder if it's relatively enjoyable to drive and reliable
