This is a recording of an "exhibition" race between two of motorsport's all-time greats; Juan Manuel Fangio in a Mercedes W196 GP car and Jack Brabham in one of his own grand prix cars. It was a support race for the 1978 Australian GP at Sandown Park.
Incredible to see (and hear!) two great cars from different eras, piloted by men from different eras, head-to-head out on a track. Enjoy...
