He's an excellent driver still. I'm not sure of the incident you're talking about (barely get to watch WRC anymore since Speed decided to be lame).

It was an exageration for the shortening of rallies that has taken over the years and the stupid superally system (which I don't know if they use anymore). He is a good driver, but then it's difficult to compare to the all time greats like Vatanen, Kankkunen, Sainz, Blomqvist, Mikkola, Rohrl and the likes when the conditions are so different.
