If you want some specifics and pics I can easily scan bits. But not the hundreds of pages to post it all
    Thanks guys !

What's the title of the book ? It sounds interesting enough to have a dig at the University library

If you could find any pictures of the exact way the did it...For example, the one picture of the Fergusons's interior. Or perhaps from the bottom. As technical and detailed as you guys can get !! Pretty interesting stuff to be honest

AWD for low traction, RWD for tarmac racing. In very high horsepower cars, the traction you gain from AWD will outweigh the friction loss from the extra shaft for straight line acceleration.

Man talk about a flame-bait thread XD FWOOSH!

For our next subject we are going to discuss why naturally aspirated is better than turbo *ducks and covers*

This thread is great, lots of good arguments

They're both good for something and I don't think one is universally better then the other. (AWD vs RWD)

tru dat homes. Just kiddin...I agree theres good and bads to them both and you really cant compare em fairly. They were both designed for different applications. One for massive traction and one for slippin and sliddin As for FWD id rather have nothing than that...cant have any fun when your being pulled!

Probably because it weighs considerably less than AWD? Other than the fact that AWD is a bit more of a brick, the traction is pretty awesome. I love messing about in the snow with my parents' 4Runner. Sliding aimlessly into corners while shifting into 4wheel and pretty much instantly gaining control, its a blast.

I always take fun in correcting these kind of people and then clearly pointing them to the benefits of French classic cars

When they started saying there was a (Stock ) Mustang with a 12" exhaust and it was 300 decibles loud, I tried, but they refused to believe it didn't exist...

Also Loudest sound possible is like 194Db
