    and then my fourth car was a BX19D. After only 15 months somebody with a Ford Capri just hit it midways when parked in front of my house and wrapped the car around a lamppost. Of course the lamppost was undamaged, but all four wheels of the car pointed into different directions. Could not withstand the build strength of a German car...

    Pieter, you seem to have been very unlucky with your first few cars, How hard did the Capri hit yours!?!? Just lucky you weren't in any of them.. Is there some sort of pattern forming with German cars here as well?

    My 206 was one month old when it suffered from a hit and run from someone. The bloody car didn't even caught the license plte number of the agressor...

    probably a couple of years later my neighbour's Mercedes 300 was parked on the same spot and was hit by 350SL losing control, also a total loss...

    My friends Dad used to drive a Rover 25, parked it in a car park, someone came and rammed it about 75yrds from it's bay, yet somehow managed to get away
