OK, I think we are all missing the point. What are the odds that IWantAnAudiRS6 gets on a date with this girl?

    1/3, any takers?

I just thought about it, and aside from a few actresses/models, I've never seen an English girl with straight teeth. I bet his saleswoman's smile is as crooked as... something that's really crooked.

Quiggs, I would recommend you pop to our college and observe the total hotness sometime... but you can't and she seemed more than acceptable in every department- teeth included.

1.8T's fuel consumption (ok, i had a leaking exhaust manifold)

Full tank serves me around 400KM. But if i had a roughly accumulated traffic jam of 1 hour that week, it'll only do 350-380KM. Thats around 13L / 100KM

    It sucks.

Boy do I wish they'd ship some diesels over here. It might even get me to respect late-model cars again!

Yeah, for guys who love torque, you're sure missing out!

The VW 1.9TDi PD, when chipped (not tuned mechanically, just electronically) can pump out 185bhp and 288lb/ft of torque- and don't forget you can get this engine in a baby Skoda and Seat!

It still sounds like a tractor though.

I like the 1.9TDi... it's punchy, and mighty quick. As someone's signature says, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, but you can make a mighty fast pig...

While agree they are suprisingly quick considering the power, I don't know if I could live with the noise and vibrations everyday...

I can see your point, as you could play Diana Krall at 10,000 decibels and it still wouldn't be 'loud'

All my music drowns out a poorly sound-deadened Peugeot, so I think I'll be OK...

The vibrations would be trickier to deal with, however.

Well I always say the same, but I remeber when my uncle's Audi A6 2.5 TDI was started on a cold morning, I sounded dreadful. Altough I guess you could turn on the radio and the start the car...
