Lol, i know you're all gonna laugh at this I really wanted to go to the Am or Porsche dealership, 1 mile from my home, for 2 weeks - its local, convenient and lets face it - awesome! But due to leaving things to the last minute, i was at a nursery with a mate.....i know, i know. Still great fun though......

I'm absolutely crapping myself, but I'm sure it will be fun.
There is no such thing as a left handed screw driver, for when they ask for one. A long stand is almost irony, and for the love of god don't go to the bodyshop to get a knock-down punch.

    Have fun.

Bloody hell. Sounds like you all did a lot better than I did. Except maybe robcooper.

I worked in a motor rewind shop. I went there cos my mate worked there, so I just spent the week making him cups of tea and we chatted about cars. I did rewind a couple of motors whilst I was there though. I doubt they worked, mind you.

Had I been a bit more ambitious, I'd definitely have tried to get a place at the Ferrari garage in Loughborough. That would have been awesome.

Done quite a bit today... put 4 new Prodrive springs on an Impreza Type D then realised that the thread on the 4th strut (passenger front) was absolutely f***ed!

Bodywork tomorrow, was touching up some Alloys today. Charlie the paint guy is going to show me how to spray a car, and we are going to do the whole rear and side skirts of a Legacy that came in, that was in tatters.

    Good fun so far!

Mountsorrel. And please, let's leave the re-location of the Ferrari garage to Nottingham, it's a touchy subject...
