    Congrats on the work placement

I applaud you for finding work and enjoying your job, but my God, they allow non-cerified mechanics to "tinker" with customer cars in your country? Jesus Christ, where the f*ck do you live?

I'd never...EVER want some CHILD changing life-saving parts on my vehicle. Ever.

If forced to pick between him doing the work and you... Well I think I'd even give my dog first dibs before you, and its been dead for 18 months.

I wouldn't change your brakes...and you would die because of it.

Oh, sod off. Another Prius-alike- someone who has a 'comeback' every so often, with similarly disastrous results.

    clearly in a better place
Are you really upset at that or is it that you wish you had the chance to do it too ??

All work done during placements is supervised.
NOTHING is allowed without a senior tech over-seeing it and checking it.
So do you check into the education, intelligence and capability of every person who touches your car ?
Thank God I am an American.
    That's OK, we do too
Seriously tho' ... you'd benefit by asking questions before making such huge and inappropriate WRONG assumptions in the future.

That's exactly what I'm talking about - gross levels of ineptitude and incompetence.

If I need remedial work doing, I'll leave it to the professional mechanics, not professional berks like you.

Shame you haven't got the intelligence, wit or manners of one.

    I live in Scotland.

    I'm not a child.

All repairs are overseen by a certified mechanic.

Here is the WR1. As said, owner had it and lost his lisence within 4 months cause he got caught speeding so many times!

There is also the very special "RB320" Impreza here too... That is taking pride of place in the showroom and I dont think they are in any hurry to sell it. Now that is some monster!!
That's very good looking there. I like the new Impreza STI's out there. It's not the best looking one out there, but it still isn't bad looking. The WR1 body style has the best look, in my opinion.

By the way, which is higher performing, the P1 or the 22B?

    P1 is a 2ltr Boxer, 0-60 in the 4.5 - 5 second range. Top speed, i think, of around 150mph. 280bhp engine i think.

I *think* the 22b was a 2.2 liter? with nearly 300 bhp. Top speed in the 160mph ish range and 0-60 in a shade over 4 seconds.

    Not quite sure though.

EDIT : The 22b, not 2 seconds... should have read 4.

HOLY MOTHER OF CRAP! The P1 is almost as quick as a Porsche 997 Turbo and the 22b is just INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, that's a wickedly fast 0-60 time. So I guess the 22B is more desirable of the two?
