Twin Turbo BMW M5 v Twin Turbo Holden VE

The BMW has an excellent car with an excellent motor, BUT the modifications seems second rate. Definately not worth the $300k+ US asking price.

Who in their right mind sticks turbos, let alone TWO of them behind the rear wheels....

I cant help but laugh at all of the elbow joints in the Commodores piping.

yeah, they're engineered for the original power output for a reason....
and the BMW's problem is dynamics, not power

It gets worse jedi, the turbo on the left is effectively further away than the one on the right by at least a metre. Not only is there tonnes of lag, but its unequal between both turbos

ingenious. not to mention, i imagine it suddenly got easier to steal turbo's when you nick the wheels

Obviously engine compartment room is at a minimum, also the oil lines look very vunerable there, it wouldnt be too laggy though see its a TT setup, not my favourite FI project though, a better solution would have been longer primaries and the turbos bolt up there

They shouldve just supercharged it. Put the blower between the cylinder banks and mock up a new intake.
