why, just curious on why you think that cause i think you might be on the wrong site. not trying to be rude and welcome. i also like them im actually getting a 98 prelude once i get a job. allthough they are extremley reliable and they are good at getting alot of power out of small engines, but they dont have alot of special technology which is in my opinion is a good. tommy kaira cars are absoluteley amazing in my opinion. i once talked to a guy in europe who sold tommy kaira rr which is there tuned skyline for an insanely low price and i asked him why and his answer was he had another and a nur. i was very jealous

Wellcome to UCP. I recognize that drifting takes quite a bit of driver skill, but I'm just not into it. I like motorsports where the fastest car wins. In drifting you get points for the angle of the drift, how much smoke the tyres make and so on. I'll stay with real racing.

"NEVER ALLOW SOMEONE TO BE YOUR PRIORITY, WHILE ALLOWING YOURSELF TO BE THEIR OPTION"
i do drifting/powersliding for fun(in Gran Turismo 4) It's not only fun but it is required to counter understeer in certain cars.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
i own an S14 (see avatar)
i drift, have watched the "drift bible." it makes out that its "easy." its not.
it costs alot to get into it, it costs a lot to keep doing it and it costs alot when you stuff up.
Silvias are made to drift, everything else is a wannabe.

anybody who doesn't use a viper for drifting is clearly very misinformed.Originally Posted by whiteballz

or a turbo with any less diameter then a viper rear wheel cant be taken seriously.

Im pretty sure that "costs alot" is generally applied to all forms of racing.Originally Posted by Blue Supra

Drifting, in my opinion, is less dangerous than normal high-speed racing. It's also hard and fun. RWD cars are easy to drift because they push the car. FWD pulls, meaning that drifts are harder, and AWD (Skyline, WRX) is even harder than FWD.

If only there was one.
You can't "drift" a FWD. You can put it into oversteer, but you can't control it. As soon as you apply power or brakes it'll just straighten out or spin. You can't hold it sideways.
