My dad is in the hospital

    Hi guys,

My father suffered a serious heart attack today in the afternoon and is in serious condition in the ICU ward. I can't begin to tell you how tough it's been. I was with him when the heart attack began. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and he couldn't breathe. I started to give him CPR while his doctor and the ambulance got there.

They placed a temporary pace maker on him to get his heart rate up, when he got to the ER his heart rate was 20 beats per minute (should be al least 80 per minute). He's in critical but stable condition now. He's responding to treatment slowly, but isn't out of the woods yet. I would appreciate it if those of you who pray to do so for my dad. I'll try to keep you all updated. Thanks in advance.

My thoughts and prays are with you, your father and family. I had a heart attack a few years, he is in the best place. The hospital would of given him an anti clotting/blood thinning injection and he will be on a IV with blood thinning drugs. Hopefully the ECG and blood enzyme reports come back alright. The hospital will conduct various test and work out the best medical solution. I had stents inserted a few years back and havent had a problem since(touch wood).

Its a lesson to everyone, whenever chest pain occurs GET IT CHECKED OUT .It doesnt matter how old or young etc, heart disease doesnt descriminate.

Rock if you need to talk, PM me

    Cheers
