Is there some sort of ski resort in Texas that I haven't heard about? Or do you mean water ski?

He said its a 8+ hour trip, if he averaged 60mph that'd be around 480miles. Is that far enough to reach snow?

We'd ski in New Mexico, around Albuquerque I believe. We haven't gone from here yet, so we don't know exactly how long a trip it'd be. We also plan on hitting some spots in Colorado and Utah as well.

We actually started out looking for a used diesel 3/4 ton, but after my Dad saw what these things were selling for used, he might as well buy new. As it turned out, diesels are too expensive, and we don't drive it enough miles to ever recoup the cost in the diesel's fuel savings (my Dad's on fixed income these days, so that was kind of important). Besides which, the Semi Hemi's capabilities are more than adequate for our needs.
