    Price Comparison Amongst Countries

Hi guys, I'm not sure such a thread exists, but i guess we can have a thread that shows car price disparities amongst regions to see who's the real sucker.

We'll do this in this format:

Brand/Model/Displacement/Drivetrain (Should not include other spec ups)
    Country: Price (USD)
    Country : Price (USD)

Then members can browse thru, and could just add price, or new models.

    Ferrari Enzo
    Malaysia : $2,200,000USD

    Maserati MC12
    Malaysia : $2,000,000 USD

    Audi A4 2.0TFSi Quattro
    Malaysia : $93,982 USD

    Mercedes CLS350
    Malaysia : $229,000 USD

    Mini Cooper S
    Malaysia : $76,360 USD

    Toyota Yaris
    Malaysia : $29,370 USD

    Honda Jazz
    Malaysia : $28,000 USD

    Suzuki Swift
    Malaysia : $24,000 USD

It oculod be done again, and this tiem properly. NO taxes sh09ould be added but the taxation of each car should be mentioned and we should all post both what it is in our currency and what it is in some baseoline currency (Euros, USD, or Pounds preferably as they or major - or we could use CDN!)

Jeez man. Even in Australia (which is pretty expensive compared to a lot of others from what i know) Brand new Swifts are only like $13, 000 aus. And even Jazzes r only like $15, 000 Aus.

300% to be exact. But it depends, mostly full tax imposed are on European makes. Jap makes get about 150% depending on models and (who imports them)

However, certain race who are supposed to be in the automotive business in our country (that majority race) could receive Approve Permits (APs) from governments for free, then they can import cars from overseas without any sort of taxation, and sells them to us at the AFTER-TAX rate and keep all the profits themselves. However most of them who got these APs are government officials, some who aren't in the automotive business gets around 20,000 to 30,000 APs at one time, then they sell them for around $10,000 USD each to car importers. Even BMW and Toyota have to buy/wait for APs from these individuals to import their makes into Malaysia.

    Which is kinda sad.

note: My 1997 Audi A4 1.8T Frontrak with 100,000KM was bought in 2006 for $16500
