I didn't say that. And yes I have had shots stolen. But i've also have received compensation for that after I had notified them.

I don't run these competitions, if it was up to me the both of you would not have been allowed for a long time. Whether or not his shot is untouched, it is rather difficult to trust him after his recent antics.

I voted for Cotterik because, damn, that boy is fine.
I'm going to eat breakfast. And then I'm going to change the world.

    What would Solomon say?!
Also, now who's voting for the content of the pic and not the pic itself
Audi humbles Porsche. A new dawn starts today.

Assuming that photo isn't altered, I respect the technicality of that shot. Daan's photo, while beatiful and interesting, IS driven mostly by the content, not the quality. It's a neat idea, it's beatiful, but it's not something I would hang on my wall. The photo of the boy could stand outside the competition and have some worth, where I don't think the same of Daan's.

Oh, and Solomon would simply agree with me.

Forgiveness? what have you done to earn it? other than continue on your current line of posting?

You don't run these competitions. stop acting like you do and accept the parameters within which you should work.

Cotterik's photo shows great clarity and focus, but he's not my type

Daan's photo is perspective altering. it is very, very good. thus it gets my vote.

Watermarks are great insurance against theft and copyright infringement. what some people forget is that this is someone's creative outlet, and it's not acceptable to copy someone's published work - regardless of its original source.

If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

    I wouldn't.
Publishing a picture on the net is admitting that there is a chance for it to be stolen. If you want to make sure your photo is not gonna be stolen, you don't publish it. Entering a picture with such watermarks doesn't make any sense to me.

No it's not. This is an absolutely rediculous type of logic. Just because something is easy to steal, does not make a difference.

There is also a chance that your car gets stolen on the street.
