    yes

911 turbo's sound pretty dull all round. GT3's are where it's at, and even their idle sounds a bit rubbish, like BMW's

I'm guessing a GT3 ClubSport sounds the same as the normal GT3? I've only ever heard the 997 GT3 RS and 996 GT3 CS

But who wants to hear the engines idling? I'm much more interested in the sound when they are revving/on the move.

depends if it's stock or not. i have heard a GT3 CS that sounded like a pumped up subaru boxer rumble..very deep.

true, but engines like a bridgeported rotary or a V8 with a lumpy cam can sound very menacing at idle.

I hate the way muscle car sounds. Too boring and souless.

Sounds like they're only trying to be loud.

    That is pretty funny!
He should go for a ride in an 11-sec Yenko Camaro or a 10-sec Super Stock Hemi Dart or Barracuda.
You don't just hear those powerful engines... you can feel the power they make.

"Boring" and "souless?" That's hardly what I would describe something like a 426-Hemi with open headers.

Sounds like they're only trying to be loud.
They are not "trying to be loud," they are naturally loud and have to be muffled to be street legal. When they are loud, they are closer to being in their original state.

i don't really feel excited by either of those cars. Although leaving that out of it the older muscle cars do sound good. not a fan of last gen camaro's and trans ams and what have you, they lost something their predecessors had
