    Rendezvous.

I'm a rallying man at heart but Pikes Peak just scares the Sh*t out of me.
Plus, driving like that in the early hours on the morning waking up to the sound of that engine must be pure bliss. Although v dangerous.

This may or may not be directly influenced by my addiction to Test Drive unlimited at this moment in time

thats right. I dont think it suits the video though. The original soundtrack is much better to sit back and watch with the visuals

err.... check the video again, cars that appear in the video had 'normal' speeds with their blinkers (signal/directional lights) and thru the arc de triumph, cars that turned at the roundabout was in normal, average round-about speeds as well. and for the Ferrari sound, it changes in sync with the downshifting of the car, which in that era (based on footage and road side vehicles), i dun think digital remastering is available right?

Again, the car was a Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL 6.9. Claude Lelouch himself said it.

Yeah, I had a feeling about that. I remember the Rendezvous clip from somewhere on this forum. I knew it was fake, but it's still pretty cool stuff.

As a result, Climb Dance all the way. He's got some big balls to drive like that, at the edge of a cliff nonetheless.

That must still be some good driving there then. However, it was still reckless.

The modern civilisation owes alot to westerner's recklessness. What would the world be if all were like my chinese ancestors? Writing poems in gardens full of concubines ....

Sure, but they only endanger yourself. Only you go splat for the first four. Only you get zapped in the 5th one. And I'd like to see you get to the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa today.

    And I still stand correct.

Actually, I wouldn't mind having lots of concubines......

I knew alot bout my chinese heritage, and thou i know the pros and cons, but it is this strong heritage that grew the strong sense of belonging of chinese, and hence the arrogance of most chinese that ultimately led to the downfall of chinese culture. AFAIK, for the last 300 years, chinese weren't contributing much to the world in terms of science, technology, medical and whatsoever.

We only kept bragging about how good we were; much like most current car manufacturers.... Mini, trepiuno, 8c competizione and such.....
