I think Pieter isn't complaining about this solely because of his connection speed. He may be able to think about others and face that others got a much worse connection, and has to wait for many minutes to load a photo-competition. I have tried loading the photo-comps with really slow connection and gave up immediately.

But I wasn't expecting you to understand anything of it, since empathy is a strange animal to you.

Are you trying to emulate Drakkie too? It just so happened that during the running of comp 118 I was 5000 km away from home on a slow connection, and it was there that I realised that we might help people who have no alternative then to be on such connections....
