Latest drivers yes and updates yes.

I like the game alot but its difficult to play when everytime you die, press f6 or esc the game crashes to desktop. I browsed the offical stalker forums and it seems to be a common problem so i guess your one of the lucky ones with no problems. Considering this game was 6 years in the making i would have expected it to have a bit more polish than it has in way it runs.

I agree. Great game. There are 7 endings and i got the 'get rich' ending which is pretty crappy. ive restarted the game again to get the good ending and will save before i go to the plant in order to get the other 5.

Thats weird, i've had no problems running it atall. No bugs whatsoever. On full settings with 6xAA and 16xAF in manual graphics ATI settings. I think its about luck. Some systems work great with it, others have bugs and have to be fixed by messing with the game's files. Either way, if you can get it to run its fantastic. There are alot of support sites with people sorting these problems out so check those out.

Hope i can fix it because its a game i would love to get more into.
You have dirt right how does that run, i've also heard things about the performance problems with that game and i havn't exactly had good experiences with codemaster games.

DIRT runs fine for me on high-max settings. The game is probably the most hardware intensive game i've played. basically if you want to play it above medium settings you need a pretty high end pc. but other than that there are no problems with the game.

Most of my spare time i play RACE - The WTCC Game, closely followed by GTR2 and some mods in rFactor. GTL is on the way in a bundle with GTR1 so i have enough to play the upcoming weeks

I was cleaning my wardrobe when I rediscovered a heavy grey box called NES. And a game called Super Mario Bros. 3.

Good times, and good memories too!
