I think the man is party responsible like the conclusion of the investigation concurred. The way I drive is a "better safe then sorry approach" where I often give up my right of way to anxious drivers to avoid any incidents, and so to not do so with a plane...I mean you are 100% gonna notice them, why not take the care in case they are not noticing you...

In fact 1,982 Countaches were made its 16 year life.

Personally it's one of those bad cars I can't help loving, preferably the early ones.

In that case, 1 down, 1,981 to go. I was off by 19, not bad.

But the Countache's cologned, gold chain and toupee wearing sleezebag owners have probably already taken car of a few more than just 1 of these.

Sure, but I think the guy drove it on the runway. You don't drive on a runway, especially when it's an active airport. The guy sort of had it coming. You don't land a plane on a side road. He should have at least driven in a place where it was safer.

It wasn't on the runway, it was in the hangars. And he might have been driving to or from his hangar before/after going out in his plane.

Regardless, it sure seems to me that both were at fault. How missed the other is a mystery. He should add that, "I cannot tell the sound of a Cessna from a Lambo." Might give him some wiggle room in court, but he would never again be able to look another person in the eye

Well, the pilots should've heard the sound of the italian V12 as it's pretty loud...
