Anyway back to comparing cars that actually ran in this test; I wish the Corvette would have had more than one run to get a better time. Maybe next year they can bring it back and an S7TT.

Wrong. The Ultima can generate more 'Gees' that the Bugatti but to to so it has a racing interior (or lack of interior) and racing ride and comfort. The Bug is like what the Titanic was intended to be: Opulent, imposing and faster than anything else out there.
It is telling that anything which matches the Bug in 1 area can do so only by severely compromised others.

I'd rather have a lightweight track car with a rougher ride and interior (Ultima GTR720, McLaren F1LM, etc.) than a 2-ton car with a huge engine that can only go in a straight line well.

I said it can go only in a straight line well, as in it doesn't exactly handle the best (mainly because of its weight) although it is a good handler just not great like the Ultima.

well we arnt comparing the veyron to the Ultima. We are comparing the Veyron to the Venom in cornering, I dont think that the Venom handles as well as the Veyron. Putting that much power onto 2 wheels and cornering would seem like doing a u turn with a rocket.

The person that I was quoting wasn't comparing the Veyron and the Venom so, therefore, neither was I. Although I agree that the Veyron would outhandle the Venom.

No I meant it can handle very well. It's reported to be very good in the corners. I doubt there are plenty of cars that could out handle it...

If you put any stock in slalom numbers then, yes, there are plenty of cars that can outhandle it.
