M3 or Lancer. I'd go with the Lancer as its suspension probably coped with the road irregularities better . . . but that is a guestimate. Ferrari's tend to do better on the longer faster tracks, M3's are better on the smooth.

You cannot underestimate driver skill though. I had a go in a mates lancer VI and managed (on the third run) a better time than him round his farm. He'd been practicing since he got banned.

So go on then . . . who won?

I don't think so, even including anti lag measures . . ., if you can't get hold of a turbo'd car to "play" with, have a go on any driving sim and "tune up" a turbo'd car. Now watch what happens when you press the go button.

So, as I promissed, here goes the result of this so commented race...
1 - Lancer GSR
2 - 360 Modena
3 - M3 MT
4 - Lancer GT-A
5 - 360 F1
6 - M3 SMG II

The total lap of the race was 3"22"82
The fastest lap of the race is 1"05"32 by 360 Modena

What I saw in the race is that the Lancer GSR because of its 4WD had the best handling and cornering. The M3 was mostly of the time understeering because of its RWD, the same occurring sometimes to both 360.
And of course, the turbo of the Lancer helped it a lot because its torque is the greatest of all cars and brought in low engine speeds....

I wouldn't mind seeing that race - it was nice to know that the Ferrari was the fastest . . . even if it didn't win.

Who were the drivers? Joe bloggs from the street, or racing/test drivers?

(P.S. Cars can be set up to Over or understeer, it has nothing to do with whether they are 4 wheeldrive, rear wheel drive, or front wheeldrive)

oh i was right

speaking of raceing... i crashed my ford fiesta xr2 today while driving an auto-slalom competition. some jerk went on the track to put up the thingy which you go around(dont know the eng word) and i had to break so i wouldnt run over him and crashed into the fence in the side of the track... idiot
