    There's a reason Vancouver has one of the top realty markets in the world. So many people want to move here that people can ask that kind of money for a place like that. It actually kinda sucks for those of us who grew up here.

    Same with the area I live in, a nice area with direct links to Portsmouth and London 35km from Gatwick, the average houseprice is around £300,000 or something ridiculous, a 2 bedroom flat will cost £210,000...

    That said, my house is For Sale, anyone want to buy it?

    Not a bad flat, but I'd expect more like $9-10M

    But when you convert the monopoly money to USD I think you get about $17M. (wow I didn't realize it was that close...)

    yeah, he bought it when he was 24, having set up Virgin Records at 18, everytime he signed up a new artist, a new building was constructed on the island.
