So far I've seen 8 cars at once often, I guess we can expect 8 cars to be the smallest grid possible except for one-on-one. The 25 cars grid you mention was seen in the Gran Turismo demo for PS3 using GT4's engine, no idea if it's actually going to be this way in the end. It'd be great though, like really great.

Thanks for the pics Ferrer. Once thing I'd like is to see them in 1920 x 1080 to correctly judge the details, aliasing, pixels and such.

I can't comment on the penalty, but the from the multiplayer demo at Leipzig Convention, the 6-player set up was reported as amazing. You could join in at any time, and the field of cars everyone chose was looking good. 1 member reported coming out of the pits in the F430, and seeing all kinds of demo cars running by.

But I think it should be appropiate that we recognize this as GT5:P. Not sure what GT5 holds in store 1 year from now.

No, I meant that those were the problems that I found in GT4. For GT5 I hope that they fix them.

I really didn't mind having no damage. No repair costs and ugly cars.

I really hope that they fix the two player mode and the bootleg rally sessions. The 5 second rule is totally uncalled for. There's no way that you can't have contact with anything whatsoever. And the two player mode sucks. They should allow you to use whatever setup you want without restricting you on tires. These two things truly messed up GT4, which would have made a pretty good game great if these two problems didn't pop up.

I know what you mean, no contact to other vehicles is a pain in the bum but it also makes you a heaps better stearer!!!! makes you respect your vehicle and your competitors heaps more

True, but at least make the other car have the 5 second rule too. I've been rear-ended by the computer car so many times at 70 mph. Nothing has happened to the other car. By the way, the AI also sucks. They follow the same lines all the time.

Hey i'm new! The most i've heard you can drive with is 16-20 and there will definently be more than 12

Also 'visual damage' could mean anything from a mark on the paint to engines hitting other cars and exploding.

Unforunately, no. GT4 pushed the PS2 power to near limits, and I can't see GT5 retaining everything we've seen on PS2 power.
