Yesterday I found a way to make every GP exciting. Method may vary depending on where you live...

In my case: wake up just to see the last couple of laps, watch the win, the podium drivers congratulate each other, the awards ceremony, and then the 3 minute long summary of all the action. Go back to sleep happy because you've used your time wisely!

Co-incidently EXACTLY how I watched Franchittis race and championship win.

Keep circling till the leader runs out of fuel take the championship
( Love the idea that Danica did it deliberately to let Dario run under the yellow and save enough fuel )

I did the same, and watched the Speed coverage on TVU. Watching the race at 2.30 am wasn't my idea of fun and I was glad Speed had the coverage.
You lose a bit of the quality watching over the net, but it was still pretty good. I'll use TVU to watch future races live when the race is delayed on free to air TV as badly as the Italian GP was.

I guess that'll be next weekend again for Spa then.

Is this TVU player free to download?

Yes it is. You'll need broadband though. Spa will be shown at 10.55pm - so the delay isn't as bad - about an hour this time.
