    The first one, E46 320i

I never did buy a car when I was in college as it was just too expensive in Denmark. However, a little while ago a relative found this one in Germany, and it turned out it had a decent spec so I just had to have it. It's a '99 320i which means it's not terribly fast, but I can live with that. I'm not a racer, and I've always had a huge soft spot for the sound of the I6. There's a full BMW service history and it hadn't even done 45.000km when I took possession so I like to think it was good find.

Everything on the car is as it was when it came from the factory, except for the white front and side indicators and the '01 facelifted tail lights. Oh, and the resprayed body panels. The previous owner apparently wasn't all too good at parallel parking.

As much as I love it I still have to part with it. I'm relocating to the US in 3-4 months time. At least it's an opportunity to try out some M or something ridiculous and American.

I'll eggnog it if anyone wants me to.

Somehow i don't think you'll have trouble getting what you paid for it back.

    Nice looking car

Fantastic car. Last of the good looking BMWs and a proper straight six.

Enjoy it, even if it's for a short time.

Well, I can probably get back what I paid for it, yes, and then some. Low mileage German cars are somewhat common down South, eg. my dad found a '96 Golf GTI with only 14,000km on the counter.

Taking it with me to the US is not an option as it would simply be too expensive. I'm not talking about just the shipping expenses, but I'd lose 15% of the import tax if I were to export it back out. On the other hand, I can find a decent E46 M3 in the US for less than what this car cost me here.

All that said I like it very much, I'm loving the ride, and yes, I'm going to enjoy the car as much as humanly possible for the next couple of months.

my mistake, everydays a school day, the bmw i6 that varied from 2.0-2.8 litres, that joins ford, mazda, toyota as the only people who made/make such small 6 cylinder engines.
