Does anyone think the car was designed looking at Peugeot 908? I'm not saying 'it reminds me of the 908' or 'did they hire a Peugeot designer?', just some details seem to have been watched at Peugeot...

I'm seeing a lot of Toyota GT-One in it.

Agreed, and those headlights are very R390 GT1-like.

It's a very, very good design.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Dome is able to challenge the diesels.
Though it's going to need reliability on its side.

I know it's stupid, but theses close cockpit prototypes are seriously sexy.

No they admitted to closely copying the Peugeot into the computer to get a head start with the design.

How does it compare to de diesels, Im hoping that it is at least faster even though it might not win 24 hours due to refueling strategies of the peugot and Audi.

Is it going to be a LMP2 car?

Is it to contest the Euro Lemans series?
    what about the ALMS?

welcome to UCP, probably LMP1 only. Last year's Dome LMP2 efforts were less than successful.

This must be one of the first cars for the 2010 closed cockpit cars the FIA prototypes will turn into to.

No it is not. The 2010 rules have not been finalized, let alone announced. Like the Lola and Peugeot, it is built to the current regulations.

well actually the rumours are that the ACO will actually not make coupes mandatory. (FIA can only watch from a distance what ACO is doing)

My mistake. Forgot that tha ACO is in charge of Le Mans. Does this mean that the FIA championship gets its regulations from the ACO rules? What about ALMS?
