    Interesting re-body

Guessing this best befits this category

It looks like these guys are taking a BMW Z3 and turning it into a 300SL replica.

What do you want from this car? It looks really good. Of course it doesn't stand a chance compared with the original SL, but it's a hundred times better than all those other Japanese pseudo-retro monstrosities (Mitsuoka, Mooku etc.) BTW, it's intended to be a 190SL lookalike, not a 300SL one.

The company is based in Aichi. They started production in 2002. It's based on Z3 as you already know, the engines are also BMW (140-231 hp).
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

It looks nice and probably runs great, but I am concerned about who they are marketing this to.

The BMW SL190 does look very good. I just wish I could read Japanese.

These replicas are a good way to get the car if you couldn't get it the first time around or couldn't afford it. Obviously you're not getting the same product, but you'll get similar looks, etc.

I'd rock that replica. You could daily drive it, too.

    This all looks...not good indeed,

why get a nice (expensive) car and then pay much more for ruining it...

You know, I don't hate the 300SL replica half as much as i thought i would.

Out of Curiosity, is Duesen Bayern an offshoot of Mitsuoka?
