Yes, I am aware that a Bugatti Veyron and a Porsche 917 could do this, but the Porsche is suicidal and... I don't want the Bug.
The C9 reached 247 mph on the Mulsanne Straight in the qualifying session of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1989, to be exact.

The WM P88 reached 251 mph in 1988. Highest top speed at Le Mans ever recorded. The engine broke down soon after though, since the team taped all the engine air vents.

I'm pretty sure the 908 and R10 could best that if there were no chicanes though - but the C9 is a pretty cool looking car and I don't begrudge you choosing it.

Probably not, they were most likely not built to reach those speeds since there are chicanes.

His mom's dead, but that didn't stop you, did it?
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

No, he is referring to Balchowskiy's products from the fifties, who made 9 racing cars, all in yellow paint, and number indiviually, starting with Ol'Yoller 1....actually the correct spelling is Ol'Yaller....

I would do a run of the Nuerburgring in a Lamborghini Diablo 6.0.

Is that where Top Gear's James May tested the Veyron's top speed?
