    Ebay Help

Admittedly, I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to buying stuff on Ebay, especially considering that I made a purchase a few years ago for a DVD-burner drive that was misleading.

So to get to the issue at hand, I've been looking to order a North Face jacket online at a discounted price, but I don't want to get scammed. Specifically, I've been looking for this, the TriClimate Circumference 'Steep Tech' jacket in Large or XL. This auction looks alright, but I can't be sure.

I know this is probably a waste of time for all of you giving nothing in return, but it would be much appreciated. For a trade, I will offer a 1-hour 'cyber' session.

I hate to rain on your parade, but I'm always a little scared of sellers with low feedback scores. He hasn't even used his account in over a year.

Ya he looks a little sketchy. 10 Feedbacks from only sellers.

On a side note The North Face is the shitz.

Pass. Find an auction with non-stock photos of the merchandise.

    Agreed.

Typically if you see something that is to good to be true, it probably is and you should ask some very specific questions. If the seller is misleading and/or dodges around questions, you know to stay away. The same goes with unanswered questions.

I wasn't dead set on that one in particular, just throwing it out in the air for review.

Last febuary I purchased a downpipe for my FD off of Ebay, which I never received. I tried to politely contact the seller at least a dozen times while waiting the required 40 days to make a claim with PayPal. I was really worryed because the bastard canceled his ebay account while I was still waiting. PayPal really came through for me and gave a full refund within 24hrs of receiving my claim .
