Ideal for replaceing Lotus Europa's and early single seater troublesome drive shafts
Go the Aussies -- again !!!!

Amazing!!
yeah i learned about these in auto 2 last year because my auto teacher felt that they were the next best thing and really thinks they will begin using them in cars.
Saw this on ‘New Inventors’ last night. Looked very impressive in its abilllity to operate on various angles.

This is the kind of stuff I want to make when I graduate, awesome engineering!
I'm annoyed this didn't win the New Inventors Invention of the year - some conehead thing? come now.
This is the wave of the future, although it does not bode well for understeering cars

Certainly interesting.
But you still need two of these per halfshaft...
Power, whether measured as HP, PS, or KW is what accelerates cars and gets it up to top speed. Power also determines how far you take a wall when you hit it
Engine torque is an illusion.

That conehead thing is going to save riders from helmets are built only to pass a test, not stop your brain squishing against the inside of your skull.
As for this, I have no idea about CV joints so I'm staying out of it, but if you lot thing it's good, then go Aussie.

The big issue the panel had w/ the conehead was that the angle of the cones was set in stone a long time ago - while he's done a lot of research into it it might pay to sort of vary the cone depending on the application.
I've no doubt it could save lives - I just think it's a little more specialised to create a liner than to create a whole linkage system.
Who knows - Stackhats might just end up being safer
