Well it has some crazy effects on it. I really like it though. It looks embossed or something weird like that - there is no perception of depth at all.

Oh boo hoo, so editing is allowed.
Editing is an integral part of the photographic process. It can make an average picture truly magnificant. Photo editing is one of the most powerful tools at the photographer's disposal.
My picture is simply exploring and trying out new things that I have learned either on my AS-Level course or on my own or fiddling around, such is the case with my entry this week.

I think he understands this, but is lamenting the simple art if the capture of the photo only.

One of my thoughts into this is that someone with an excellent camera has a much better chance of taking a good clean capture more than someone with a mediocre/poor camera.

    Have I missed something?
I know I've been away a while but since when has editing been allowed> Especially to that extent?

Yes. Any editing is allowed... I guess that assumes that you're starting with your photo and not doing stupid stuff like editing it into another setting or adding other cars and stuff.

You know, pull off the decals and make the I/C and piping a bit stealthier, and I like.

    Hmm ok, that's quite extreme.

I think editing should be used to make a photo even more realistic looking. Now it just looks like a drawing.

Yeah I really intended the extent of editing to include just enhancement and correction. It's hard to set up strict guidelines, I'd say waugh-terfall's is a bit overboard, but I'm not going to disallow it.

Also, there is the discussion thread stickied at the top of the Photography sub-forum, so I think that's the best place for suggestions/comments/criticism.
i was waiting on a moment, but the moment never came. all the billion other moments, were just slipping all away. i must have been tripping, we're just slipping all away. just ego tripping.
