UK Members Meet

Ok so this idea came up in Clivey's thread about his beloved so i thought i would start the proverbial ball rolling and see if we can get some definate dates and places.

Is it too soon (or cold) to have one in January? That might be fun? A pub somewhere in the midlands area to suit many people? I dunno.
I just think this would be a really good idea and would quite like to get it in motion.

Well, thats not exactly local...lol.

I think we nned to work out how far everyone would be willing to travel if we were to meet up.

Plenty of pubs around my particular area of the Midlands (No less than 5 in my small village), and I'm smack, bang in the middle of the UK...we could use my place as a base for travelling about and messing around. I'm not too far away from Donington either.

Good idea. I'd also suggest that if the meet were to be in January, it should be towards the end - some members (myself included) have exams in mid-January, you see.

Ah that sucks. I am back at University by the 14th so i will be sans transport untill the beginning of April, maybe we should meet then.

I intend on going to the Stoneleigh Kit Car show in May if anyone wants to attend. Its just south of Coventry and is always a great show. I usually stay for 3 days, camping in the field.
