Guess I'll just have to practise then
I'm going for a driving lesson with my mom in a few hours. It's gonna suck she's so paranoid.

Brake lights come on when the brakes are pressed.. but you can change gears and use the brakes alternately/simultaneously. Coasting/slowing in gear is better than with the clutch in, saves fuel (in a modern car, anyway) and brake wear.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
I try not to drive with my Mom. It is often a hassle even though I drive quite calmly now in my "older" age.
I initially started off timid, then became quite aggressive and crazy, and am now pretty relaxed as a driver - but assertive. I will allow people in and be courteous, but I will also seize something if I see it. If someone won't let me in, I will make room, and I am in no way scared or passive.
I made my mother vomit.
Tru fact.

Visca Catalunya!
Don't worry I'm actually from 1923. It's just that I time travelled to 2010. In a DeLusenberg.
Or something.

Speaking of DeLoreans, A&E had all three Back to the Future films back to back both yesterday and today.
Awesome.
EDIT: BttF was likely the initial reason that I got interested in cars. The DeLorean DMC-12 still holds a special place in my heart, and if I ever become wealthy, one will be in my collection.

If I was wealthy I'd have someone engineer a worthwhile powertrain into one.

just looking on some DMC forums, apparently a chrysler 3.0 v6 fits nicely and gives a modicum of power.
but i think i remember something about a big block v8 in one... like maybe the 22 liter or whatever from the early fwd eldorado/toranado. in a more realistic sense, a northstar v8 should fit.
Honor. Courage. Commitment. Etcetera.
