    1968 Ford Mustang

    Hey Guys,

I am taking on my FIRST rebuild project, and the project car is a 1968 Mustang. It needs EVERYTHING. But the main question I need to ask is, what is the largest/most powerful engine that I could fit in this thing?
I think "Koenigsegg" is Sweedish for "OH NO, MY HEADS JUST EXPLODED!"

If you have to ask this question, you aren't qualified to restore a car.

Ding ding ding. I do that stuff for a living, and if you have to ask stupid stuff, you shouldn't be doing it, and will never finish it.

    So...

    427.

Maybe he has a lot of money, which in that case could mean he's paying someone to do it. Like the others said, the LS7.

Everybody has to start somewhere. There are plenty of books and websites to help. Just because he doesn't know doesn't mean he can't or won't.

Mr. Tiv told be that they dynoed higher than GM 427s - I am not sure which GM 427 but one of them at least. You know the numbers?

    Why a Ford engine anyways?

what was the original engine in the car? Why not restore it as completely original, might be more worth while in case you will have to sell it once...

There were different variations (state tune) for the 427s... both the Ford and Chevy versions. I don't have the dyno numbers on hand.

Might as well put a Ford engine in a (Ford) Mustang.
