I am currently selling my car on auto trader and received an email off someone (in the Isle of Skye supposedly) prepared to buy my car for the full asking price (i put ono on the ad) without even seeing it in the flesh. They will supply a bankers draft and take car of all shipping.

Having never even seen a banker's draft I doubt this is a good idea. I researched this on the internet and found a copy of an email which was similar in tone to the one I received. The only way I can see that I can sell my car and ensure I don't get ripped off is to accompany the buyer to the bank for the cash - anyone got any other ideas to not be ripped off?

Looks and smells like a big fat scam to me, mostly because 'Mrs Brown' is offering more money than the car is for sale for, but also she is happy to spend that amount of money never having seen or driven the car.
