2008 Forza UCP challenge #1

Welcome to the first forza motorsport challenge of 2008 for UCP!

Track: Mugello Long
Restrictions: No restriction on car type, drive or age
Limit: S910 limit
Target time: At least a 2 minute flying lap.

Scoring:

• 1st - 10 points
• 2nd - 7 points
• 3rd - 5 points
• 4th - 3 points
• 5th - 1 point

If we can swing it, having us all manage to be in one room would be brilliant, however if thats not possible, we will just have to figure something out.

The winner of the challenge will pick the next track, and so on.

The performance Index of your car. D, C, B, A, S, U classes.

Within each class there is a system of indexing your car, 910 is mid/top range of the S class, with S 998 being as high as you can go before you enter the U class.

i'm in. might have to separate australian/US multiplayer comps in this class though, to prevent lag being an issue

Oh yea, duh... you'd think that after playing it enough to hit lvl 40ish I'd know that....

Lag wouldnt be an issue if collisions were turned off. Also, if this is a proper race, I would prefer them off because anyone else can ruin you race. I dont quite have enough confidence that people would keep from bumping one another.

overtaking is part of it though i guess...we can always run it twice

yeah i'm in, not really played it much online really just use the online facility for the AH. Gonna have to think about timezones here aswell cos we're all on the other sides of the planet, I think its mostly Aussies, Yanks and Brits who play Forza religiously. But yeah i'd go for an all nighter to race (and lose to) you guys .

I just did a 1:54.158, so I'm definately in. If it's an online thing though I won't have proper internet here for at least a week... but probably more like two. So I'll have to sit it out if it's before then.

When's the closing date for this challenge? My Forza disc is freezing a lot, so i think i'm gonna have to get a new one
