    Yeah, I agreed with that.

Street cars would be for those released in 2007. Racecars are eligible according to competition in racing for that respective year.

I meant any car sold in 2007 should be eligible.

    This could be a possibility.

I don't think any car sold in 2007 should be eligible. Imagine if a very old car was about to be superseeded but was sold until Jan 2007. It would still be eligible, but hardly the 2007 COTY, don't you think?

Perhaps it's an idea to look towards the magazines and other websites with their various COTY/PCOTY nominations. They all have a specific set of rules regarding what is allowed as an entry for each year, rather than our current arrangement.

I think it should be when the car goes on sale, just like pretty much every magazing goes for their COTY awards.

I remembered one more car, too to nominate - Gallardo Superleggera. It wasn't remembered by me or anyone else in pre-voting thread, and now it's too late .

Okay then, how about cars INTRODUCED in 2007?

    Go right ahead.

EDIT: If we are going by what was introduced in 2007, then the R8 V12 was introduced in 2007 anyways...

So is it what was introduced, on sale or what?

EDIT 2: Or was it 2008?
