Fender Bender, Wreck, Whats the diff?

So recently, i had my first fender bender, and it sucks...

So i came to a red light, and i had a frind in the car of course. The light turned green and the little ford ranger with a tail hitch started to roll forward, so i did too. I looked over at my friend for a split second without touching the accelerator and the ranger had stopped and i rolled into his pretty little hitch...

luckily, no harm was done to his car, but unfortunately i cant say the same for my car...

    Damage Report

Hood - Popped out in two places
Grill and Grill Frame - destroyed
    A/C fan - destroyed

many more things could have happened but they didnt so im pretty thankful

Good move. Insurance companies rape young drivers as it is. Just be thankful he was a nice guy and had a hitch.

The damage doesn't look that bad, but hoods are expensive.

    Mechanic shop =/= Body shop.

Sorry to hear about it Cuda, perhaps it's time to make a trip to a scrap yard for a new fan and maybe a bumper w/ grille and a paint shop? Or would buying the paint from BMW and doing it yourself be cheaper?

Turn on your A/C to see if the condenser is leaking or not. As for the hood, push up on lows and down on the highs to get the dents out.
